Worlds of Fun

This past week we went to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun with Matt's family. I wasn't sure if Austin would be old enough to really enjoy it, but he had a blast!! It was Logan's 4th overnight/out of town trip in his short 6 week life, poor kid!! (I promise we are staying put at home for a while!!) He did really good though and slept in the stroller pretty much the entire time we were at the parks. We spent about 6 hours at Camp Snoopy and Austin and his cousins Mackenzie and Jack had so much fun riding all the rides. Austin's uncle Danny even made the trip up from Louisiana along with his girlfriend Cassie. It was great to get to see them!! Here are some pics from the vaca....
Loving the horses..this was short lived...see a few pics below

Matt and Austin had a blast in this area that had
all these things that shot balls all over the place

Absolutely hilarious!! It was definitely past naptime..

Austin loved this ride...to my surprise

Look no hands!!

New Kiddo Pics

New Job!!!

Well, its not really a new job, but I found out this week that I got a permanent full time position at a Walgreens store in Fremont. It sounds like a long ways but since we live so far west in Omaha its only a 25 minute drive from our house now, and eventually we are hoping to move to Elkhorn which would make it about a 15 minute trip from there. Plus its a very safe store, and if any of you listen to the news in Omaha this is not always the case here. Walgreens seems to be a hot spot to rob these days. I was super excited to finally get a full time home, which means no more weeks where I work 4 or 5 late nights!!! I will finally have a set schedule, which with two kids now will make our lives a lot easier when I go back to work, which unfortunately is only a week away!!! In order to get the store I agreed to go back to work a few weeks earlier then I was really planning on, but it will worth it in the long run, even though I am definitely not ready to go back to work yet!!!

One month old!!!

Its hard to believe he is one month old already!!! It sure has been a busy month so it has definitely flown by. Logan has already been a world traveler, in one short month he's been to Minnesota, to Lincoln for a wedding and to North Platte for memorial day weekend. For the most part he's been a very good traveler, we had one bad experience on the first trip to North Platte, but other then that things have gone smoothly. Thankfully we are going to be staying home for a while as I am sick of packing for us all every week!!! I can't believe how much he is growing. I would guess he is already somewhere in the 11 pound range, which means he is pretty much gaining a pound a week!!! He is definitely an eater. Just this past few days he has finally gone 4 hours at night sleeping, so that has been great!!! You wouldn't think that it would seem like a big difference from 3-4 hours, but it definitely does. Last night he even went 6 hours, granted this was from 7:30-1:30 so it wasn't that helpful in us getting more sleep, but maybe this means soon he'll be sleeping even longer!! Austin is still growing like a weed. It's so much fun to watch him grow up and get his own little personality, it's quite comical some of the things they come up with:):) Oh yeah, and once again I got mastitis, yuck!! This was my first time with Logan, but my third time overall since I had it twice with Austin. Thankfully I was in North Platte and my mom and Matt's mom helped out a ton with the kids. Matt was out of town for baseball and I don't know what I would have done if I had been home alone with the kids when I got sick. I have a bunch of photos to upload, so I will put another post up later with lots of new photos of the kiddos!!!
