Still not rolling...

Well, as of today Austin is still not rolling. At his 4 month appointment 2 weeks ago, the doctor didn't seemed concerned so for now we aren't either. We have been trying to "teach" him how to roll over by doing pretty much everything: putting him on a blanket and pulling it out from under him, helping him roll over partway, even demonstrating for him how to roll (allthough all he does is laugh at this, so I don't know how helpful this is:):)) But, no luck so far. I'm sure experienced parents out there think we are crazy for wanting him to roll, but as a first time parent all these new steps are very exciting. He is advanced in other aspects though. He can sit unassisted pretty good, sometimes even for minutes at a time. His neck/head control is good, he smiles and laughs a ton, Matt thinks he said his first word "HI", and he is learning to love his cereal and veggies. At first he wasn't so thrilled with his bland cereal, but once we started mixing in some bites of sweet potatoes and carrots he has devoured them!!! So I guess for now we will just keep practicing rolling over until the real thing happens!!!

Once they start rolling though you always have to watch them:) So enjoy this non mobile time because it will be over soon enough.
Hope to see you guys soon and finally meet the little (well big I guess) guy.
